From Excel
XLS to CSV
Upload the .xls file, pick the sheet, choose the delimiter and encoding, then download the CSV. XlsConverter reads the old binary Excel format directly and writes each sheet as plain comma separated text.
XLSX to CSV
Upload the .xlsx workbook, choose which sheet to export and the delimiter, then convert and download. Each sheet becomes a plain text CSV with values exactly as Excel displays them.
XLSX to PDF
Upload the XLSX file, choose the sheets, orientation and fit to width, then convert and download the PDF. Columns are scaled to the page and header rows repeat on every page.
XLS to PDF
Upload the .xls file, pick the sheets and page orientation, and convert to download a PDF. The saved print area and page setup from the old workbook are used when they exist.
XLS to TXT
Upload the .xls file, choose tab delimited or fixed width layout and the encoding, then convert and download the .txt file. Fixed width pads each column to the length you set.
XLSX to TSV
Upload the XLSX file, choose the sheet and encoding, then convert. Every column is separated by a tab and every row ends with a line break, ready for database loaders and scripts.
XLSX to HTML
Upload the XLSX file, pick the sheet and choose clean or styled HTML, then convert. You get an HTML table with a header row that you can paste into a website, CMS or email.
XLSX to Markdown
Upload the XLSX file, choose the sheet and column alignment, then convert. You get a pipe delimited Markdown table you can paste into a README, wiki page or docs site.
XLSX to TXT
Upload the XLSX file, choose delimited or fixed width layout, set the encoding, then convert. You download a plain text file that legacy import systems can read.
ODS to CSV
Upload the ODS file, pick the sheet, delimiter and encoding, then convert. Each row becomes a CSV line with calculated values, ready for imports, scripts or Excel.
XLSM to CSV
Upload the XLSM file, choose the sheet, delimiter and encoding, then convert. Macros are ignored and never executed, and the CSV contains the values saved in the workbook.
XLSX to CSV UTF-8
Upload the XLSX workbook, keep the encoding set to UTF-8 (or UTF-8 with BOM if a person will open the file in Excel), pick the sheet and delimiter, then convert and download the CSV.
XLS to CSV with Semicolons
Upload the .xls file, keep the delimiter set to semicolon, choose the sheet and encoding, then convert. Values that contain commas, such as 12,50, stay in one field instead of splitting.
XLS to TSV
Upload the .xls workbook, choose the sheet, encoding and date format, then convert. Each row becomes one line with fields separated by tab characters.
ODS to PDF
Upload the .ods file, keep landscape or switch to portrait, choose the sheets, then convert and download the PDF.
To Excel
CSV to XLSX
Upload the CSV, confirm the detected delimiter and encoding, set column types if needed, then convert and download the XLSX workbook. Leading zeros and long numbers are kept as text.
CSV to XLS
Upload the CSV, confirm the delimiter and encoding, and convert to download an .xls workbook. Data beyond 65,536 rows is continued on extra sheets automatically.
XLS to Google Sheets
Upload the .xls file and convert it to Google Sheets ready XLSX, then open it in Google Drive or have it saved directly to a Drive folder. Formulas, dates and text encoding are preserved.
XLS to XLSX
Upload the .xls file and convert it to .xlsx, then download the new workbook. Formulas, cell styles, merged cells, column widths and every sheet are carried over.
XLSX to XLS
Upload the .xlsx file and convert it to .xls, then download the result. Data beyond the old 65,536 row and 256 column limits is moved to extra sheets and listed in the job report.
Numbers to Excel
Upload the .numbers file, choose whether each table gets its own sheet, then convert and download the XLSX. You can do this on Windows or Linux, no Mac is required.
ODS to XLSX
Upload the ODS file, keep the option to preserve formulas and styles, then convert. You download an XLSX workbook with every sheet, ready to open in Excel or Google Sheets.
XLSX to ODS
Upload the XLSX workbook, choose whether to keep formulas, and convert. The result is an ODS file that opens in OpenDocument office suites with all sheets intact.
TSV to XLSX
Upload the TSV file, confirm the encoding and header row, then convert. Each tab becomes a column boundary and you download a typed XLSX workbook that opens directly in Excel.
XLSM to XLSX
Upload the XLSM file and convert. VBA macros are removed and you download a standard XLSX workbook with the same sheets, formulas and formatting, safe to share.
XLSB to XLSX
Upload the XLSB file and convert. You download an XLSX workbook with every sheet, formula and format, readable by Google Sheets, BI tools and data libraries that cannot open XLSB.
Data and databases
Excel to JSON
Upload the Excel file, choose the sheet and JSON shape (array of objects or array of rows), then convert and download the .json file. Header cells become keys and each row becomes one record.
XLS to JSON
Upload the .xls file, choose the sheets and whether you want an array of objects or rows, then convert and download the JSON. Old code page text is decoded into proper Unicode.
JSON to Excel
Upload or paste the JSON, choose how nested objects and arrays are flattened, then convert and download the XLSX. Each object becomes a row and each key becomes a column.
Excel to XML
Upload the Excel file, set the root and row element names and choose elements or attributes, then convert and download the XML. Each row becomes one element and headers become tag names.
XML to Excel
Upload the XML file, confirm the detected repeating element, then convert and download the XLSX. Each repeating element becomes a row, with its attributes and child elements as columns.
Excel to SQL
Upload the Excel or XLS file, name the table, choose MySQL, PostgreSQL or SQLite, then convert and download the .sql file. It contains CREATE TABLE plus batched INSERT statements.
Excel to MySQL
Upload the Excel file, choose MySQL, set the table name and column types, then convert and download the .sql file. Import it with the mysql client, phpMyAdmin or MySQL Workbench.
Excel to PostgreSQL
Upload the Excel workbook, choose PostgreSQL, set schema, table name and column types, then convert and download the .sql file. Run it with psql or any PostgreSQL client.
XLSX to JSON
Upload the .xlsx file, choose the sheet, key style and output as a JSON array or JSON Lines, then convert and download. Each row becomes an object keyed by your column headers.
XLSX to XML
Upload the XLSX file, choose the sheet, set the root and row element names, then convert. Each spreadsheet row becomes one XML record and each header becomes a child element.
XLSX to SQL
Upload the XLSX file, pick the sheet, set the table name and SQL dialect, then convert. You get a .sql script with a CREATE TABLE statement and INSERT rows ready to run.
Excel to SQLite
Upload the Excel file, choose SQLite as the dialect, set the table name and convert. Run the downloaded script with the sqlite3 shell or any SQLite client to create and fill the table.

JSON to CSV

CSV to MySQL
